Job Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Digital Solutions team at Mercer, a Marsh business. This role will be based in either the US or Canada. Mercer is the world's largest HR consulting firm and the digital consulting arm of the Marsh group.
Our Digital Solutions practice is a certified Workday implementation partner that specializes in business and cloud consulting, and we are dedicated to transforming our clients' businesses through big data, cloud computing, and enterprise services. Responsibilities Architect, develop, and deploy applications on the Workday Extend framework, ensuring adherence to Workday best practices while maintaining robust security controls and data integrity. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to analyze requirements and design scalable solutions that directly address business problems.
Build and customize Workday applications, workflows, and user interfaces that integrate seamlessly with core Workday modules, including Prism, to deliver a cohesive user experience. Maintain accurate project forecasts, monitor delivery progress, and communicate timelines, risks, and expectations to stakeholders in a timely manner. Serve as the Workday Extend subject‑matter expert for sales and delivery‑supporting solution design, demonstrations, client presentations, and scoping/pricing estimates.
Qualifications 5+ years of Workday platform experience (experience at a Workday partner preferred). 3+ years as a lead consultant designing or delivering Workday Extend / Built on Workday applications. Workday Extend certification (required). Strong knowledge of Workday architecture, data model, security framework, and integration points with core modules.
Preferred Additional Workday functional certifications (HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent, Prism) that demonstrate cross‑functional depth and the ability to design integrated Extend solutions. Proven expertise with Workday integration protocols (Graph, REST, SOAP) to architect secure, high‑performance integrations and troubleshoot complex API‑driven workflows. Hands‑on experience with the Built on Workday deployment lifecycle, including packaging, certification, and production rollout.

Compensation The applicable base salary range for this role is $111,600 to $223,200. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements, and may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
