Lead Business Analyst (Reston)

We have two divisions: 1) Hospital / Provider Practice 2) Managed Care / Payer Practice – we work directly with health plans (very strong in the Blue Cross Blue Shield space).

We are currently hiring an Lead Business Analyst Summary: One of our Blue Cross Blue Shield clients is looking for a Lead Business Analyst who will be leading tracks of work and not necessarily having direct reports. On a day day-to-day, the hired employee will be responsible for leading Scrum team meetings, stand-ups, grooming sessions, and client interactions.

Resource will be collaborating frequently with product owners, scrum, and architecture teams. Requirement 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an enterprise-level environment (multiple teams within an SAFe/Agile environment) working on a software upgrade/maintenance. Recent Healthcare payer industry experience Strong experience in backlog management, prioritization, and user story refinement Experience working with developers and data teams Able to speak about how to push tasks/projects forward with minimal supervision Location: Hybrid, 1-2 times a week in Reston, VA, which may lessen once the resource is more acclimated.
