Optima Living is seeking a Labour Relations Consultant to support unionized workforce operations in Alberta and British Columbia. This role requires expertise in collective agreement management and strategic labour relations guidance. In this key position, you will act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders and Human Resources while enhancing Optima Livingβs internal labour relations capacity.
Your focus will be on providing practical solutions, handling grievances, and supporting collective bargaining efforts. A strong understanding of labour relations principles is essential to foster respectful union-management relations. Key Responsibilities: β’ Provide daily labour relations support to leadership teams β’ Manage the grievance process including meetings and resolutions β’ Support collective bargaining preparation and participation β’ Coach leaders on collective agreement interpretation and compliance β’ Monitor labour legislation and recommend process improvements Requirements: β’ Minimum 3β7 years in progressive labour relations β’ Experience in healthcare or seniors living is an asset β’ Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills required β’ CPHR designation or progress toward designation preferred β’ Ability to travel across Alberta and British Columbia Leverage your labour relations expertise at Optima Living to improve community relationships and operational decision-making. #J-18808-Ljbffr
