TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF CARTAGENA , A CALL FOR APPLICATIONS IS ANNOUNCED FOR THE HIRING OF GROUP III TECHNICAL SUPPORT STAFF FOR SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES IN THE SOIL ANALYSIS RESEARCH AREA (CODE: C-033/26).
Deadline for submission of applications: July 28.
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Indefinite.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Second-Level Vocational Training in Laboratory Work or Analysis.
For degrees obtained abroad (including those from the EU), applicants must provide proof that they have obtained the corresponding recognition or, where applicable, the credential attesting to the equivalence of their degree.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: A Class B driver's license and your own vehicle to travel to the Tomás Ferro Experimental Station at the UPCT.
WEEKLY DEDICATION: The position will be full time, and the workweek will be 35 hours.
GROSS ANNUAL REMUNERATION: The employee will receive an annual gross salary of 23.047,08 euros.
PROJECT TITLE: Soil analysis.
DURATION: The term of this contract will be contingent upon the availability of budgetary funds for the aforementioned line of research.

INTENDED DATE OF DEPUTY EMPLOYMENT: immediate.
TASKS TO BE CARRIED OUT:
- soil sampling
- physicochemical analysis of soils
- biochemical and molecular analysis of soils
- data processing
MERITS TO BE ASSESSED AND EVALUATION CRITERIA:
Academic background: 0.4 points for each “good” grade; 0.5 points for each “excellent” grade; 0.6 points for each “highest honors” or special award.
Specific training: Accredited training courses: up to 2 points at the discretion of the evaluation committee.
Professional experience:
- Experience in chemical soil analysis: 0.5 points per month of in soil analysis
- Experience in physical soil analysis (especially stable aggregates): 0.5 points per month of demonstrated experience in soil analysis
- Experience in molecular analysis of soil samples: 0.5 points per month of demonstrated experience in soil analysis
Languages: English proficiency: 0.5 for B2, 1 for C1, 1.5 for C2.
Personal interview: up to 2 points at the discretion of the evaluation committee: motivation, interest, and aptitudes.
