L3 - TKG and Kong

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support TKG clusters across Non-Prod, UAT, Production, and DR environments.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes issues related to pods, nodes, networking, ingress, storage, and RBAC.
• Install, configure, and manage Kong API Gateway, services, routes, plugins, and certificates.
• Support Kong HA setup, upgrades, backup, rollback, and performance tuning.
• Configure monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Jaeger.
• Handle production incidents, RCA, failover, and DR activities.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in TKG and Kubernetes administration.
• Hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway.
• Strong Linux and scripting knowledge.
• Experience with Docker, Helm
• Good understanding of SSL, API security, certificates, and RBAC.
• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMware vSphere, NSX, AVI, and Harbor.
• Knowledge of Istio, microservices, and service mesh.
• Exposure to banking or enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Redis.
