L3 Nursery nurse

Level 3 Nursery Nurse - Permanent Location: Rotherham, S60 Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Full-time, 45 hours per week Start: ASAP About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse to join a reputable early years setting in the Rotherham S60 area . This is a full-time, permanent position working 45 hours a week, supporting children across the nursery and delivering high quality care and education within the EYFS curriculum . Key Responsibilities Provide warm, nurturing, and responsive care to children aged 0-5 years.

Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) . Maintain accurate observations, assessments, and development records for each child. Promote children's independence, confidence, and holistic development.

Ensure all safeguarding, welfare, and health & safety procedures are followed at all times. Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues. Contribute to a supportive team environment and attend staff meetings/training as required.

Essential Requirements Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g., Early Years Educator, Childcare & Education). Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to update/register).

Safeguarding training completed and up to date. Ability to work 45 hours per week on a full time basis. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A genuine passion for working with young children. Desirable Skills Experience in a nursery or early years setting. First Aid qualification (Paediatric).
