TeacherActive is proud to be working with primary schools across Newcastle who are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Primary Teachers to support their KS1 classes. This is a great opportunity for a Primary Teacher who enjoys working across different school environments and supporting pupils with their learning and development.

The schools are looking for a Primary Teacher to provide day‑to‑day support across Key Stage 1 / KS1. The successful Primary Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging lessons, follow school planning where provided and maintain a positive and well‑managed classroom environment.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Primary teaching experience in the UK
• Sound knowledge of the KS1 Primary Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication skills
• An adaptable and enthusiastic approach
