Finn Harps FC is inviting applications for the position of Kit Manager.

Key Responsibilities
Matchday Responsibilities
- Prepare all playing kits for home and away fixtures.
- Ensure each player has the correct match kit, including shirts, shorts and socks.
- Prepare goalkeeper and alternative kits where required.
- Ensure all matchday equipment is packed, transported and available when required.
- Liaise with coaching staff regarding matchday kit requirements.
- Ensure replacement shirts, shorts, socks and other essential items are available.
- Manage the collection, counting and storage of kit following matches.
Training Responsibilities
- Prepare training kit and equipment for all scheduled sessions.
- Ensure players and staff have access to appropriate training clothing.
- Maintain an organised system for distributing and collecting training kit.
- Monitor kit levels and identify shortages before they become an issue.
- Ensure training equipment is clean, maintained and stored correctly.
Kit Management & Stock Control
- Maintain accurate records of all playing and training kit.
- Manage club kit stock and equipment inventory.
- Monitor sizes and individual player requirements.
- Identify when new stock needs to be ordered.
- Assist with ordering kit, clothing and equipment when required.
- Maintain an organised storage area.
- Ensure club property is properly accounted for.
Laundry & Maintenance
- Coordinate the washing, drying and preparation of playing and training kit.
- Ensure kits are returned clean and ready for use.
- Identify damaged or worn equipment and arrange replacement or repair.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Travel & Away Fixtures
- Prepare and pack all required kit and equipment for away matches.
- Ensure sufficient spare kit is available for travelling players and staff.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment.
- Maintain an organised system for equipment during away trips.
- Work closely with relevant club staff regarding travel requirements.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional standard of presentation at all times.
- Assist with the preparation of kit for club photographs, promotional activities and events.
- Support the football department with other reasonable operational duties.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding club and player matters.
- Represent Finn Harps FC in a professional manner at all times.
- Comply with all relevant club, FAI and League of Ireland policies and procedures.
Person Specification
- Excellent organisational skills.
- High level of reliability and punctuality.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a football staff team.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends and matchdays.
- Full commitment to maintaining professional standards.
- Full driving license.

- Age 18+
- Previous experience in a kit/equipment management role.
- Previous experience working within a professional or semi-professional football or sporting environment.
- Knowledge of training equipment.
- Experience with stock control.
- Full driving licence.
- Previous experience preferred but not mandatory.
The role will require flexibility around the football calendar and will include:
- Training sessions.
- Home and away matchdays.
- Mornings, evenings and some weekends.
- Pre-season and other football activities.
- Occasional additional hours depending on the requirements of the football department i.e away trips.
