Role Summary

We are looking for a strategic and dynamic Business Unit Head to lead our Modern Trade (MT) channels. This role demands a sharp business acumen, strong channel expertise, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to drive revenue, profitability, and market share across these fast-evolving retail platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Define & lead the end-to-end digital commerce growth roadmap, Identify new business opportunities, emerging channels, consumer trends, competitors
• Develop and execute Q-commerce strategy to scale brands across key markets.
• Leverage data analytics to improve customer satisfaction, reduce inefficiencies, and optimize delivery processes.
• Collaborate with marketing, tech, product, and customer service teams to synchronize efforts and create integrated solutions.
• Forecast demand and optimize stock levels with supply chain teams to ensure immediate product dispatch.
• Streamline last-mile delivery operations for fast and efficient fulfilment.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics partners and delivery teams.
• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction and proactively address operational or delivery challenges.
• Stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and new technologies to drive innovation within Q-commerce.
• Manage platform partner relations to ensure commercial discipline based on agreements.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, logistics, and IT, to ensure smooth e-commerce processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 5-8 years in core MT , Quick Commerce, Supply Chain, or Operations, with at least 3+ years in a senior strategic leadership role, and expertise in P&L Management.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree & Supply Chain, or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in data-driven decision-making.
• Proven ability to optimize inventory management, logistics, and delivery processes.
• Leadership and team management skills to drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Understanding of digital marketing and customer experience strategies.
• Proficiency in Ecommerce platforms, CRM tools, and analytics software.
