Our software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how millions of Australians connect, explore and interact with their sporting activities. Our products need to handle a variety of sports, membership organisations, competitions, analytics, and a rich understanding of data and how the world fits together.
We are looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas and a ‘can do’ attitude, ideally with a passion for learning. As a software engineer, you will work on a variety of projects critical to our needs, with opportunities to work on both internal and external software as our fast-paced business evolves.
We need our engineers to be versatile and enthusiastic to take on new problems across a full-stack architecture as we continue to push technology forward.
This is an exciting opportunity that would suit a recent graduate engineer eager to be exposed to an established and reputable platform yet empowered to reimagine and enhance its existing capabilities.
What does this look like day to day?
- Research, conceive and develop software to extend and improve our product offering.
- Contribute to a wide variety of projects across web, database, and API projects.
- Collaborate on finding solutions to customer challenges.
- Solve challenges and problems you are presented with, including bug fixes, new features and architecture solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Upgrade older functionality as required to meet best practice requirements.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
Highly Desirable
As a junior software engineer, experience in the following is not required, but should be identified in your resume.
- Relational database experience or study.
- Code version tooling experience (e.g. Git).
- Understanding of web application architecture.
- Experience with Amazon AWS and AWS cloud deployment including Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, Cloudfront, S3 and other related services.
- Experience in AI
Administrative Details
- Permanent, full-time role.
- Located at revSPORT HQ, at our Homebush office, next to Sydney Olympic Park.
- Salary and entitlements negotiable based on experience.
