Job DescriptionJob Title: Junior Site Engineer (Residential & Commercial) Location: Dublin Salary: € DOE Our client, a growing Irish contractor, is seeking ambitious Junior Site Engineers to join their growing project teams across Dublin. Working on a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial developments, you'll gain hands-on experience on high-profile projects while developing your technical and site management skills alongside experienced construction professionals. Projects include two residential schemes €10M and €14M in value, an educational development €12M in value and the restoration of an old commercial building.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with up to two years' experience looking to build a long-term career with one of Ireland's most respected contractors. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Site Engineer and Site Management team with the day-to-day running of construction projects. Carry out setting out and surveying duties.
Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements. Monitor the quality of workmanship and report any issues to senior site management. Assist with maintaining accurate site records, including daily reports, RFIs and quality documentation.
Support the implementation of health and safety procedures and promote a positive safety culture on site. Liaise with design teams, consultants and subcontractors as required. Assist with inspections, snagging and quality assurance throughout the construction process.
Candidate Requirements: Degree or Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline. 02 years' experience in a Site Engineering or Graduate Engineering role. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Total Station and GPS surveying equipment is desirable. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative site team. Full, clean Irish driving licence or working towards obtaining one. Eligible to work in Ireland.
