Junior Accounts Payable Technician

Main Responsibilities

• Support service centers in the invoice receipt and approval process (Goods and Services).
• Ensure the accuracy of pending receipts awaiting processing.
• Handle invoices in compliance with internal billing procedures within the SenSaas payable system.
• Manage discrepancies and exceptions.
• Perform collections on credit balances.
• Reconcile statements of account.
• Ensure the application of internal controls and participate in various internal audits.
• Provide administrative support to suppliers and internal clients.
• Follow up on various files and requests.
• Participate in departmental projects.
• Ability to work with a high-volume workload.

Qualifications And Skills

• DEC in Accounting or equivalent.
• Results-oriented with a strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to prioritize effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills; demonstrates professionalism and strong work ethic.
• Initiative, rigor, and autonomy.
• Comfortable working with multiple computer systems.
• Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite, AS400, and SenSaas is an asset.
• Knowledge of Oracle is an asset.
• Experience with an ERP system implementation is an asset.
• Availability and flexibility in work schedule.
