We are looking for a highly skilled *Journeyman Electrician* with experience in both residential and commercial fields. The candidate can independently diagnose electrical problems, lead projects, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Do

* *Perform electrical service, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations on residential and commercial properties*. * Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings. * Diagnose electrical problems using multimeters, circuit testers, and other diagnostic tools. * Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with NEC and local codes. * Lead projects from start to finish and ensure high-quality workmanship. * Supervise and train apprentice electricians. * Communicate professionally with customers and provide solutions that meet their needs.

Required Technical Skills- Residential Service

* Troubleshoot electrical systems. * Install and replace: Outlets and GFCIs; 3-way and 4-way switches; Ceiling fans; Smoke detectors; Exhaust fans; Motion sensors; Thermostats; Indoor/outdoor heaters; Lighting fixtures; Complete whole-home rewires and remodel projects; EV Chargers

Service Upgrades & Panels

* Install: 50A and 100A subpanels; 200A–400A service upgrades; Meter-main combinations; Multi-meter systems (5+ meter banks); Panel surge protectors.

Commercial Experience

* Commercial lighting installation and replacement. * Tenant improvements and remodels. * Troubleshoot commercial electrical systems. * Bend and install EMT, Rigid, and PVC conduit.

Low Voltage

* Install and terminate: CAT6; COAX; HDMI; Camera systems; Audio systems; Ethernet systems; Install and program; Doorbells; Surveillance cameras; Access control systems.

Leadership Responsibilities

* Manage and train 1–2 apprentices. * Delegate responsibilities effectively. * Maintain a clean and organized jobsite. * Ensure all work is code-compliant and completed safely. * Complete jobs with minimal callbacks.

Customer Service & Sales

* Build trust with customers. * Explain electrical issues and recommended solutions. * Identify opportunities for additional services and upgrades. * Deliver a five-star customer experience. * Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.

Qualifications

* *5+ years of full-time electrical experience required.* * Minimum *3 years of residential and commercial service experience running jobs independently.* * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. * Deep understanding of NEC requirements. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Experience leading apprentices and managing projects. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Stable work history and professional demeanor. * Ability to use mobile applications and company software. * Valid California driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred

* Experience with multi-meter installations, service upgrades, and commercial troubleshooting.

Physical Requirements

* Lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs. * Work in attics, crawl spaces, and confined spaces. * Climb ladders and work at heights. * Stand and walk for extended periods.
