Full-time, permanent | 4-day working week

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000per year depending on experience and ability

Enhance Sliding Wardrobes is a family-run fitted furniture manufacturer based in Dungannon. Established in 1992, we design, manufacture and install bespoke fitted bedrooms and furniture throughout Northern Ireland.

Due to continued demand, we're looking for an experienced fitted furniture installer / bedroom fitter to join our team.

This position is specifically for someone with relevant fitting experience. We're looking for a fitter who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and is capable of completing fitted furniture installations to a consistently high standard.

Working Hours

This position operates on a 4-day working week:

Monday Thursday: 7:00am 5:30pm

You'll have every Friday off, providing a three-day weekend as standard.

The Role

You'll be responsible for installing a range of our bespoke furniture, including:

• Sliding wardrobes
• Hinged fitted wardrobes
• Walk-in wardrobes and dressing rooms
• Bedroom furniture
• Desks and home-office furniture
• Bespoke media units and other fitted furniture

Our furniture is manufactured at our Dungannon factory, with installations taking place in customers' homes throughout Northern Ireland.

This is a developing and varied role. While fitting will be the primary responsibility, the position will also include days working within our Dungannon workshop, assisting our manufacturing team as and when required.

We're looking for someone who is happy to be flexible and become a valuable part of the wider production and installation team.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have previous experience fitting bedrooms, kitchens or other bespoke fitted furniture.

You should be:

• Experienced in fitting cabinetry or fitted furniture
• Confident working independently on installations
• Competent with scribing, cutting and fitting furniture accurately
• Able to read and work from plans and measurements
• Comfortable dealing professionally with customers in their homes
• Particular about the quality of your finished work
• Reliable, organised and able to work as part of a team
• Able to identify and resolve fitting issues on site
• Willing to assist within our manufacturing workshop when required
• Flexible and willing to take on different responsibilities as the role develops

A full UK driving licence is required.

Applicants must also have their own professional power tools and hand tools suitable for fitted furniture installation.

Salary

Salary starts from £35,000 per year and will reflect your experience and ability.

We're particularly interested in hearing from experienced fitters who can demonstrate a high standard of workmanship and work independently.
