We are recruiting for multiple Senior Java Developer contract positions to join large-scale enterprise technology projects. These roles are suited to experienced Java developers with 7+ years of commercial software development experience, ideally gained within complex enterprise environments.
Java Developers (Multiple Positions)
Rate: €350 - €385 per day
Location: Dublin
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain enterprise Java applications.
- Build scalable backend services and REST APIs.
- Develop high-quality, maintainable and well-tested code.
- Work with Spring and Spring Boot based applications.
- Contribute to application design and technical decision-making.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.
- Work closely with developers, QA, DevOps and business teams.
- Participate in code reviews and support engineering best practices.
- Work within Agile development teams across the full software development lifecycle.
Required Experience
- 7+ years' commercial Java development experience.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Good understanding of microservices architectures.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented development and software design principles.
- Experience with Git and modern source control practices.
- Exposure to automated testing and CI/CD environments.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Experience
Experience with some of the following would be advantageous:
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Kafka or other messaging technologies.
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or similar.
- NoSQL databases.
- Enterprise application development within financial services, public sector or other large-scale environments.
There are multiple contract positions available, with rates ranging from €350 to €450 per day depending on experience and level.
