Java Developer

We are currently looking for a Freelance Java Developer to join one of our clients in the Capital Markets / Financial Services space, working on a new regulatory reporting platform . Responsibilities Design and build scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot Develop cloud-native microservices architecture Work on transaction reporting and financial data flows Translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions Collaborate with BAs, QA, and compliance stakeholders Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing Greenfield project – no legacy system Exposure to regulatory reporting frameworks (MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR) Highly collaborative Agile environment 5+ years of experience in Java development Strong expertise in Spring Boot & microservices Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems Experience in Banking / Capital Markets / Financial Services is a strong plus Good communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders Location: Belfast (3 days onsite per week) If you are interested or know someone suitable, please send your CV to [email protected] #Java #SpringBoot #AWS #CapitalMarkets #RegulatoryReporting #Freelance #Hiring #TechJobs #Belfast #J-18808-Ljbffr
