IT Platform Analyst - Dallas Overview: The IT Platform Analyst will play an essential role in our IT infrastructure team by utilizing operations experience to ensure patching, backups, and consistency in configuration between Microsoft 365 tenants. The incumbent will develop and maintain a rigorous system of processes to maintain alignment of configuration profiles, compliance policies, app deployments, etc. amongst our enterprise’s 365 tenants, as well as multiple daily backups of 365 mailboxes, Teams, and SharePoint, as well as routine patching and remediation for endpoints deployed across the international environment. In this Role you will: Design, implement, and maintain an Operations function for the Microsoft 365 platform deployed across multiple organizations and tenants, including: Compliance and Configuration standards Patch Management Cloud Backups Manage and refine the latest Microsoft 365 Intune features to ensure consistency across enterprise tenants.

Refine MacOS and Linux endpoint management configurations and policies. Manage security baselines, configuration profiles, and compliance policies across tenants. Work with the IAM (Identity & Access Management) team to ensure consistency of Conditional Access policies.

Triage with the Security team on security tools to manage vulnerabilities and enforcement such as Threatlocker and Microsoft Defender. Monitor device compliance and proactively triage non-compliant devices. Ensure proper device and drive encryptions for all endpoints.

Maintain “app catalog” in Intune for all approved company apps with automatic deployment or self-service installation, where applicable. Maintain detailed IT asset management for all devices and endpoints. Develop and maintain extensive documentation on all endpoint configurations and policies with the goal of establishing a “reference architecture” that can be replicated and deployed at multiple companies for multiple 365 tenants.

Engage proper change management protocols for security policy changes, exceptions, etc. Work closely with the Support, Infrastructure, and Information Security teams to determine and implement solutions to improve efficiency, reliability, and security of endpoint services and capabilities. Utilize Autopilot OOBE to develop seamless white-glove and standard deployments from procurement / purchase to end user.

Collaborate with IT counterparts in customer organizations to implement and align endpoint management initiatives, including patching, configuration profiles, etc. Skills, Experience and Qualifications General Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. IT/Engineering-related degree is a plus.

Direct experience designing and implementing Microsoft 365 tenants. 2+ years of experience in a similar position providing endpoint management and system administration skillsets. 2+ years’ experience with IT Security-related systems and processes in an Enterprise environment. Excellent team player with the ability to positively encourage and influence others, especially cross-team and cross-functional. Ability to multi-task with strong attention to details.

Enjoy working in a fast-paced, agile environment and resolve unplanned incidents quickly. Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information in both technical and non-technical terms. Self-motivated, proactive, independent, and responsive; requires little supervisory attention.

Microsoft Defender configuration and management experience is a plus. Patch management for Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android, and iOS native updates as well as 3rd party apps. Manage Entra ID configuration and policies.

Active Directory/Hybrid experience is a plus. The desire to learn and become familiar with new areas of technology. Technical Proven experience implementing (design, process development, and deployment) of: Microsoft 365 Endpoint Configuration / Intune, Patch Management (Microsoft + 3rd Party), and Cloud backup with advanced reporting and remediation on an established schedule.

Direct experience with endpoint deployment and management via (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager/SCCM, Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune, etc.). Knowledge and Experience installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems as well as proven track record for deploying applications for Windows 11, iOS/iPadOS and Android, MacOS and Linux are significant plus. Experience with support and management of Microsoft 365 suite including new user creation, group membership, dynamic group memberships, MFA, licensing, and security policies.

Intermediate to advanced experience with Bash, PowerShell or similar scripting/coding experience. Basic knowledge Mac management using any MDM (Intune, JAMF, Addigy, Kandji etc) Direct experience with Azure AD and Active Directory. Extensive experience with Group Policy and/or Configuration Profiles and Device Restrictions.

Direct experience with Microsoft Teams and Exchange usage and management. Experience with RMM solutions (Teamviewer, Kaseya, Solarwinds, etc.) Basic or foundational knowledge of a company’s network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, DHCP, DNS, VLAN) for occasional team-assisted troubleshooting and support. Familiarity with automated patch management, testing, and deployment.

Automox experience is a significant plus. Cloud antivirus and anti-malware experience. Microsoft Defender 365 security and compliance knowledge is a plus.

Experience with Apple Business Manager is a plus. Windows 365 Cloud PC management is a significant plus.
