Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cost Analyst in a Manufacturing environment, based in Desoto, TX. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and cost analysis, including cost accounting, preparing financial statements, and maintaining accurate journal entries. The role will also involve conducting financial analysis to improve cost efficiency and support strategic decision-making. This role partners closely with operations to analyze production performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maintain strong cost accounting processes within a manufacturing environment. Qualifications Proficiency in Cost Accounting and familiarity with manufacturing industry financial practices.

Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret Financial Statements for organizational reporting. Strong Analytical Skills to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 3–5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (serial or high- volume production preferred) Strong understanding of standard costing, BOMs, routings, and manufacturing cost flows Proficiency with ERP systems • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling) Strong analytical and communication abilities Ability to partner effectively with operations and supply chain teams P referred Qualifications • CPA, CMA, or MBA • Experience in mattress, furniture, or other serial manufacturing industries • Background in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement environments Please email your resume to [email protected] if interested.
