IT Pharmacy Systems Analyst (Hiring Immediately)

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy - Tarrytown Expocare (Tarrytown) is a national long-term care pharmacy that serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

The Company provides prescription medication to individuals primarily residing in group homes and offers clinical administrative services to its facility partners. Tarrytown is always looking for a strong candidates to help our Pharmacy Operators to identify opportunities to improve automation and pharmacy workflow. Expected Duties: Incident management for pharmacy systems within purview Subject matter expert for core pharmacy systems (Softwriters Framework LTC and ECM, Integra/Redsail DocuTrack, and related/interfaced systems) Documentation and knowledgebase management Develop methodology documents based on self-initiated interviews, diagrams, surveys, and workflow analysis Research and analyze all aspects of existing business processes and help draft, refine, and promote proposed solutions for advancing automation Research, identify, track, and communicate incidents and problems with core business applications within purview Communicate and coordinate with department leadership about common issues that interrupt workflow Actively participates in the testing and implementation of new software applications as well as test current application functionally when updates are performed Create/Assist in developing training material to train end-users in the use of software applications Organizes and prioritizes assigned tasks to meet established schedules, timeliness and/or deadlines Work independently with minimal supervision Assist with project management discipline Assist with change management discipline Develop/maintain custom reports within Microsoft SQL Reporting Services Requirements: College or Advanced Degree preferred Proven IT aptitude and experience Pharmacy operations knowledge Experience and technical understanding of the following: Softwriters FrameworkLTC® and FrameworkECM™ Integra (aka Redsail Technologies®) DocuTrack and DeliveryTrack QS/1® Electronic Prescribing Solutions (eRx) eMAR interfaces DOSIS® Synmed® Parata® Medicine on Time® Thorough understanding of pharmacy operations workflow Oral and written communication skills worthy of Executive Level briefings/publications Demonstrations in writing comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, impact analysis, and corrective action plans Experience researching, proposing, and implementing software changes to improve pharmacy operations ITIL knowledge and understanding of IT best practices (major plus) Proficient in English written and spoken language
