London office (Hybrid working - minimum 3 days per week in the office but could be more depending on business needs) Salary: £32,000 p.a. plus benefits Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer, looking for a new and challenging opportunity? We are a well-established organisation who helps UK companies develop their business’ in China, and there is room on our team for someone who can bring value to our IT Support team. The IT Support Engineer role will be expected to act as the first point of contact for IT issues, providing support across hardware, software, and cloud-based services in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.

The role includes managing and deploying end-user devices and network infrastructure, administering identity and access services using Microsoft Entra ID and Exchange Online, and supporting business applications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365. The successful candidate will handle incident resolution, user onboarding and offboarding, system documentation, and AV/collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams. In addition, the role involves supporting cybersecurity practices by ensuring systems and users remain compliant with company policies.

Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for all IT issues (hardware, software), including support for cloud-based services hosted in Microsoft Azure Configure, deploy, manage, and support PCs, laptops, printers, servers, and network infrastructure Administer identity, access, and productivity services using Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, and the Microsoft 365 Admin Centre Support and manage data within Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring data integrity, system performance, and appropriate user access Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning/deactivation, access control, and user training on IT systems and cloud tools Set up and maintain meeting rooms and AV systems, ensuring seamless integration with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom Resolve incidents and service requests through accurate diagnosis and timely resolution Perform root cause analysis and proactively identify opportunities to improve IT services Assist in monitoring and responding to security incidents, including phishing reports and suspicious account activity Support the implementation and enforcement of security controls such as MFA, Conditional Access, and endpoint protection Ensure endpoint devices are secure, patched, and compliant with company policies Promote security best practices and support internal user awareness initiatives Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all IT systems and processes Support ongoing IT projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Benefits Excellent company pension contribution 30 days annual leave Life insurance (4x salary) EAP Essential Skills A bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years of 1st line support of desktop/laptop and Microsoft Azure admin centre, including Active Directory (Entra ID) and Exchange. Good experience with network infrastructure including DNS/DHCP/switches/firewalls/LAN/wireless cabling in an enterprise environment.

Good understanding and hands-on experience with corporate cybersecurity practices, including phishing awareness, endpoint security, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and secure user access management. Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbally. Pro-active and able to work under pressure.
