Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer About the Role To maintain, repair, and improve a range of machinery and equipment across the site. From preventative maintenance to emergency breakdown response, you will play a vital role in ensuring operations remain safe, reliable, and efficient. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and resolve issues efficiently. Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they impact production. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns.

Work with external contractors for specialised repairs or installations. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records. Uphold health and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications At least three years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, including experience with schematics and control systems. Confidence in independent problem solving, combined with a collaborative approach.

Clear communication skills and a high level of attention to detail. A driving licence is preferred but not essential. Benefits Competitive pension scheme.
