Role Overview

We are looking for an IT Asset Management & Procurement Executive to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, support procurement activities, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure compliance with organizational asset governance processes. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, process-driven, and capable of coordinating with internal stakeholders and vendors.

Job Responsibilities :

• Manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, allocation, movement, repair, and disposal.
• Maintain accurate asset inventory and ensure CMDB records are always up to date.
• Handle IT procurement activities, including raising Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), vendor coordination, and invoice tracking.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotations, deliveries, warranty claims, and AMC renewals.
• Track asset stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Perform periodic asset audits and reconciliation with finance records.
• Handle IT service requests and asset-related tickets within defined SLAs.
• Maintain documentation related to procurement, warranties, licenses, and asset ownership.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding by ensuring timely allocation and recovery of IT assets.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports on asset utilization, procurement status, and inventory and support IT budget planning, procurement cost tracking, and spend optimization while ensuring purchases are aligned with the approved budget

We hope that you have:

• 1–5 years of experience in IT Asset Management, inventory control, and procurement coordination.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Commerce, or a related field.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP (Procurement/MM modules), CMDB/Asset Management tools, and ITSM/Ticketing systems (Jira, Freshservice, ServiceNow, JSM, etc.).
• Advanced Data Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas) and comfort using both Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes, IT hardware systems, software licensing, and warranty management.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Drive: Strong analytical abilities to evaluate procurement spend, track metrics, and solve operational bottlenecks.
• Process-Oriented Mindset & Detail Focus: High level of attention to detail with an appetite for maintaining strict documentation and governance standards.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong vendor management and stakeholder handling capabilities.
