Overview
In this role you will provide initial response and coordinate specialist advice at road incidents, acting in bronze incident command to support prompt hazard clearance. You will work within CPS policies and risk assessments to maintain safety and operational continuity. The role covers highway maintenance, street cleansing, and minor civil works, with a focus on safe, timely execution and accurate reporting.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement traffic management and input data for records. This is a hands-on, safety-critical position on the M25 network with a strong emphasis on incident response and maintenance delivery.

- Provide initial response and arrange specialist advice at road-related incidents and hazards in bronze incident command capacity
- Implement Traffic Management per CPS policies, method statements, and risk assessments
- Undertake cyclic maintenance, carriageway repairs, soft estate maintenance, street cleansing, litter picking, and related civil/building tasks
- Maintain accurate written/verbal communication and input data via mobile devices for reports and records
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and maintain driving records in line with CPS procedures
- Check and restock traffic management signs and equipment and report defects
- Participate in Winter Service rota and attend required training to maintain competencies
- Live the Connect Plus Services values and contribute to safety culture
- UK Driving Licence, minimum category C (LGV Class 2)
- CSCS Operative Card
- unknown (desirable: CE category, Driver Qualification Card, 12AB, FISS card, Level 2 NVQ Highway Maintenance, TMF/LTMO)
