About the role -
This client-facing role offers the opportunity to work closely with founders, promoters, investors, and senior dealmakers on the end-to-end execution of capital-raising, M&A, and strategic advisory mandates.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with excellent communication skills and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities -
Transaction Execution
- Support end-to-end execution of investment banking transactions, including capital raises and M&A mandates
- Build robust financial models, valuation analyses, investor presentations, pitch books, information memorandums, and other transaction materials
- Coordinate investor interactions and respond to diligence requests during live transactions
- Assist in preparation and review of transaction documentation, including Term Sheets, Share Subscription Agreements (SSA), Shareholders' Agreements (SHA), and other legal documents
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with founders and management teams to understand business objectives and transaction requirements
- Help clients organize financial information, MIS, historical financials, and other business data for fundraising and due diligence
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, fund managers, family offices, HNIs, and other ecosystem participants
Deal Sourcing & Building Knowledge Assets
- Conduct industry, company, and market research to develop investment theses and sector insights
- Analyze competitive landscapes, market trends, and macroeconomic factors affecting businesses
- Support deal origination by identifying prospective clients and assisting with business development initiatives
Candidate Profile -
- CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA
- 5–7 years of relevant experience
- Candidates should be comfortable with accounting and have a strong understanding of financial statements & valuation
- Candidates with experience in building out detailed financial models will be given preference
- Good written communication skills, good working knowledge of MS PPT & Excel
