Job Description
Are you a qualified accountant with 3–5 years’ experience in Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Investment Banking or a similar transaction-focused environment — and ready for a role where your analysis actually influences investment decisions?
This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing, private equity-backed renewable energy business as an Investment Associate, working closely with the Investment Manager and CFO across modelling, transactions, financing and commercial decision-making.

Who we are seeking
- Qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- 3–5 years’ relevant experience in Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Investment Banking or similar
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- Strong commercial judgement and confidence challenging assumptions
- Renewable energy or Project Finance experience is advantageous

You prefer reporting historic numbers rather than forming a view on what happens next, or if you enjoy building models but are less interested in the commercial assumptions behind them.

Overview of the Responsibilities
- Build and maintain investment and valuation models, including scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Support investment cases, acquisitions and financing at project and Group level
- Analyse operating asset performance and commercial opportunities
- Work with investors, lenders, advisors and operational teams to support key decisions
