Job Description
We're working with a leading manufacturing company in County Clare to find an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their evening shift team. This hands-on role sits within the AU Fill-Pack Value Stream, reporting to the Production Supervisor.
- Identifying and implementing permanent fixes for recurring equipment downtime
- Root causing electrical faults from 24V DC up to 3-phase systems
- Liaising with Production Supervisors and Coordinators on equipment priorities
- Applying Lean and continuous improvement tools to drive lasting process improvements
- Managing shift handovers and ensuring full EHS compliance
What We're Looking For:
- Technical degree or diploma with 2 years' maintenance experience in a highly automated industrial setting
- Hands-on experience with pneumatics, instrumentation, hydraulics, or vision systems
- Familiarity with cGMP, FDA QSR, or ISO regulatory standards
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have:
- PLC programming or electrical control systems experience
- Experience leading continuous improvement projects
