Job Description : Mid-Level Professional – Taxation & Wealth Management Position Title: Mid-Level Professional – Taxation (Structured Products, AIF & Wealth Advisory) Department: Finance / Taxation / Wealth Management Location: Kolkata Taratala Reporting To: Head – Finance & Taxation No of Vacancies: 2 Role Summary The role requires a finance/taxation professional with strong expertise in taxation of structured financial instruments, Alternative Investment Funds (AIF), Market Linked Debentures (MLDs), wealth management products, and related investment vehicles. The incumbent will be responsible for tax advisory, structuring support, compliance oversight, and evaluation of tax implications across diverse investment portfolios including hedge funds and sophisticated financial instruments. Key Responsibilities Manage and review taxation aspects of structured financial products including Bonds, AIFs, MLDs, and wealth management instruments Evaluate tax implications for domestic and international investment structures Provide advisory support on direct and indirect taxation related to investment portfolios Assist in structuring investments with tax efficiency considerations Analyze taxation of hedge funds, alternative assets, and complex financial instruments Ensure compliance with applicable income tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and auditors on tax-related matters Support tax planning strategies for high-net-worth portfolios and investment structures Stay updated with regulatory changes impacting structured finance and wealth products Assist in due diligence of investment opportunities from a tax perspective CA / CPA / CFA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification preferred.
