International category & business development lead — bihotz care
Bihotz Care
Job Description
International Category & Business Development Lead — Bihotz Care
Oasis Dist SL is looking for a senior international profile to lead the development of Bihotz Care, a category focused on maternity, mother & baby care, puericulture, women's health and healthcare-related solutions for mothers, babies and families.
This is not just a sales role. It is not just a clinical role either.
We are looking for someone who can connect business development, healthcare understanding, international market access, category building and hands-on execution.
Mission
Your mission will be to define and develop the international strategy for Bihotz Care, with an initial focus on European markets such as Spain, Portugal, France, Italy and Germany, and potential expansion into additional markets where there is a clear business opportunity.
The right person will understand that a strategy that works in one country may not work in another.
Healthcare systems, recommendation pathways, professional roles, commercial channels, pharmacies, distributors, associations, purchasing behaviour and cultural dynamics can vary significantly from one market to another.
Your role will be to turn that understanding into a concrete international growth strategy.
What you will do
You will be responsible for:
Defining the international strategy for Bihotz Care. Prioritising markets and building country-specific entry plans. Analysing business opportunities, competitors, channels and partners. Identifying and developing distributors, commercial partners and strategic collaborations. Building relationships with healthcare professionals involved in maternity, postpartum, puericulture, breastfeeding, neonatology, paediatrics and women's health. Understanding the role of midwives and other healthcare professionals in product recommendation, adoption and use. Designing country-specific go-to-market approaches. Supporting positioning, pricing, commercial messaging and channel development. Defining KPIs and measuring performance. Coordinating internally with the areas required to develop the category. Gradually building structure, processes and potentially an international team as the business grows.Who we are looking for
We are looking for a senior, internationally minded business builder.
The ideal candidate may come from sectors such as:
Healthcare. Medical devices. Women's Health. Mother & Baby. Maternity. Obstetrics. Neonatology. Breastfeeding. Postpartum care. Puericulture. Pharmacy. Consumer Health with a clinical angle. Healthcare products. You do not necessarily need to be a clinician. However, you do need to understand how healthcare professional relationships are built and how clinical understanding can be translated into business growth.
Experience we value
We will especially value experience in:
International business development. Building categories, products or markets from an early stage. Launching products across several European countries. Managing distributors, partners or local market representatives. Country-specific go-to-market strategy. European healthcare market analysis. Pricing, forecasting and business planning. Working with healthcare professionals, KOLs or professional associations. Negotiating in international environments. Developing commercial channels across different markets. We are particularly interested in real examples: countries developed, decisions made, results achieved, and your personal responsibility in the process.
Languages
Fluent professional English is required.
Spanish, French, Italian, German or other European languages will be highly valued.
Languages matter because this role is about building professional and commercial relationships across Europe. The ability to understand cultural nuances and communicate credibly in different markets will be a real business advantage.
Seniority and future evolution
This is a senior role, but it is not a position where you will manage a large team from day one.
We are looking for a clear combination: Hands-on today. Leadership tomorrow.
At the beginning, personal execution will be essential: market analysis, partner outreach, relationship building, opportunity validation, commercial planning and early traction.
As the category grows, the role may evolve into building processes, structure and an international team.
Why this role is interesting
You will have the opportunity to build an international healthcare-related category from an early stage.
You will work at the intersection of business, clinical understanding and international market development.
You will shape the strategy country by country, rather than applying a generic export model.
You will have direct impact on the growth of a category with potential across maternity, mother & baby care and women's health.
This is a role for someone who wants to build, not simply maintain.
How to apply
Please send your CV to: [email protected] and include your answers to the three screening questions below:
Tell us about a real case where you developed business, opened markets or managed a category across several European countries. Which countries were involved? What relevant differences did you find in channels, healthcare systems, professional recommendation pathways, distributors or decision-making processes? What decisions did you personally make and what results were achieved? Describe your experience working with midwives, obstetrics, neonatology, paediatrics, puericulture, women's health, mother & baby or a comparable healthcare environment. Which professionals did you work with? What role did they play in product recommendation or adoption? What did you learn about building trust in that environment? Imagine Bihotz Care is at an early stage of international development. You need to prioritise Spain, Portugal, France, Italy and Germany. How would you decide where to start? What would you analyse in the first 60 days? Which channels would you test first? Which KPIs would you use? What would you personally do to generate the first real opportunities? We want to understand your real experience, your business judgement and your ability to build an international category from an early stage.
