About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and reliable Office Administration Intern to support the day-to-day operations of our Development Center in India.

This role is critical in supporting our growing Team in India while ensuring smooth coordination with the European HQ. You will be contribute to HR management, recruitment support, facility management, and HR compliance for the office in India. You will act as an operational backbone in India and serve as the primary point of contact between the India team and the Operations Manager in Europe.


Key Responsibilities

HR Management & Employee Experience

  • Support complete HR administration (onboarding, offboarding, employee records, attendance, leave management, exit formalities, etc.)
  • Handle employee queries and act as the first point of HR support
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems and ensure proper documentation
  • Organize team-building activities, events, festivals, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Support payroll coordination and benefits administration in collaboration with external partners


Recruitment Management

  • Support end-to-end recruitment for the India Development Center
  • Ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience
  • Support the onboarding process for new joiners (documentation, IT setup, workspace allocation, orientation)


Office Management & Hands-On Facility Care

  • Workplace Oversight: Manage day-to-day office operations in our small team environment. This includes personally supervising office utilities, coordinating minor furniture maintenance, and managing physical access controls.
  • Housekeeping & Pantry Management: Maintain a clean, organized workspace by managing daily cleaning checklists and conducting weekly stock reviews for pantry and office supplies.
  • Security & Log Maintenance: Personally ensure that physical and data access logs are accurately maintained, updated, and fully compliant with company security protocols.


HR Compliance, Tracking & Reporting

  • Support to ensure full compliance with Indian labor laws ( Shops & Establishment Act, PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, POSH, etc.)
  • Track and maintain statutory compliances, filings, and records
  • Prepare regular HR and operations reports (headcount, attrition, recruitment pipeline, leave, compliance status) for management
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager in Europe on cross-border reporting and alignment


Coordination with Europe HQ

  • Act as the bridge between the India team and the European Operations Manager
  • Provide timely updates and reports on HR, facility, and operational matters
  • Support smooth collaboration and communication between the two locations


What we are looking for

Required Skills:

  • Previous work experience for example as an intern (Office Administration / HR Administration / Operations)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace / MS Office and HRIS tools
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced start up environment, and maintain a hands-on mindset with the understanding that no task is too small to contribute to the team`s success
  • Fluency in Kannada and Business English (written and spoken)


Preferred Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliances (PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labor Welfare Fund, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience in recruitment coordination and HR operations
  • Proven experience in facility/office management


Please note: We are looking for a candidate who is based near our office location or willing to relocate (Royal lake front Residency, 8th phase, JP Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka-560076)
