Become an essential part of FirstOntario as an Intermediate Accounting Analyst in Stoney Creek. Contribute to financial accuracy and decision-making through meticulous reconciliation and reporting in a hybrid work environment. In this role, you will be responsible for monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, supporting month-end close, and preparing financial statements.
Your expertise in financial accounting principles will play a crucial role in strengthening internal controls and ensuring compliance. Collaborate effectively with Treasury and Financial Performance while utilizing analytical techniques for accurate reporting. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare recurring and non-recurring journal entries accurately • Diligently conduct account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies • Assist management in reviewing departmental account reconciliations • Prepare various monthly financial and ad hoc reports • Maintain audit-ready documentation and support audit engagements Requirements: • Degree in accounting, finance, or business; CPA pursued or achieved • Minimum four years of accounting experience • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and General Ledger software • Strong accuracy and attention to detail skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be the driving force behind financial integrity at FirstOntario Credit Union. #J-18808-Ljbffr
