# Job Title: Interior Designer & Quantity Surveyor

## Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented **Interior Designer & Quantity Surveyor** to join our growing team. This role combines interior design, technical documentation, quantity surveying, and project support. The ideal candidate should be able to develop design concepts, prepare detailed drawings, estimate project costs, create Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and coordinate with vendors and site teams to ensure successful project execution.

## Key Responsibilities

### Interior Design

* Meet with clients to understand project requirements and design preferences.

* Develop creative interior design concepts, layouts, mood boards, and material palettes.

* Prepare detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD.

* Create 3D models and photorealistic renderings using SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, Enscape, or similar software.

* Prepare working drawings, furniture layouts, electrical layouts, ceiling plans, and detailed joinery drawings.

* Select finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and accessories.

### Quantity Surveying & Estimation

* Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for interior fit-out projects.

* Measure quantities from drawings and site measurements.

* Estimate material, labor, and project costs.

* Prepare project budgets and quotations.

* Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and contractors.

* Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.

* Assist with procurement planning and material tracking.

### Site Coordination

* Visit project sites for measurements and inspections.

* Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers.

* Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.

* Resolve design and execution issues during construction.

* Monitor project progress and prepare status reports.

### Documentation

* Maintain project drawings, BOQs, specifications, and documentation.

* Prepare client presentations and material schedules.

* Update revisions based on client feedback and site requirements.

## Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

* 2–5 years of experience in interior design and project estimation (fresh graduates with strong skills may also be considered).

* Experience in residential and commercial interior projects is preferred.
