Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Senior Mechanical Engineers and Senior Electrical Engineers to join our team for a major construction project in Saudi Arabia.

The selected candidates will be responsible for the technical supervision, coordination, and management of Mechanical or Electrical works on site, ensuring that construction activities are executed in accordance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, schedules, and project requirements.

⚠️ This position is based in Saudi Arabia and requires availability to relocate and work on-site in the Kingdom.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Supervise and coordinate Mechanical or Electrical works throughout the construction phase.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, method statements, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Review and coordinate technical submittals, shop drawings, material submissions, RFIs, and method statements.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate their resolution with the relevant project stakeholders.
• Monitor the progress and quality of Mechanical or Electrical works on site.
• Ensure that installations are executed in accordance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Participate in inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities where applicable.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams and contractors.
• Prepare and review technical reports, progress updates, and relevant project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable HSE, quality, and technical requirements throughout the construction process.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.

LANGUAGES:

• Proficiency in English is required.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, preferably within large-scale construction projects.
• Proven experience in site supervision, construction, installation, and technical coordination.
• Strong knowledge of relevant engineering standards, specifications, and construction practices.
• Experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience reviewing technical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Experience in large-scale residential, hospitality, commercial, industrial, or mixed-use projects will be considered an advantage.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC will be considered an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
