Your role will include, but isn’t limited to: Serve as a member of the Global IA Center of Excellence, facilitating and supporting Independence Assessments that directly influence PwC's network strategy and compliance with external regulations and internal policies Provide consultation services for independence assessments, including responding to both formal and informal requests and advising client service teams Stay up-to-date on developments related to independence assessments by actively participating in the Global IA community and completing required training Collaborate with global and territory contacts to discuss independence-related developments, share best practices, and contribute insights for decision-making Support communication and distribution of Independence Assessment knowledge and training to XLOS firm personnel Support the Independence Office and Firm by responding to other, non Independence assessment consultation requests and providing advice to client service teams Interact with other relevant functional groups such as Risk Management and ARQ to develop integrated, quality services for our Firm Participate in and support business operations transformation initiatives by evaluating technology developments, contributing to global projects and priorities such as SDC and COE, and assisting in the development and implementation of the overall transformation strategy, including change management plans Coaching and development of independence office team members, and participation in independence office webinars and training What You’ll Bring Experience in a managerial role, with demonstrated knowledge of PwC and its suite of services Thorough understanding of independence rules, including SEC, UK PIE, EU PIE, and PwC Global Independence Policy entity restrictions Proven experience with complex entity structures, such as private equity arrangements and investment companies Comprehensive knowledge of both Firm-specific and Canadian Independence rules Strong business acumen given the need to deal with XLOS local and global teams Strong technical knowledge and understanding of independence rules Canadian CPA or equivalent reciprocal/recognized designation is an asset but not required This position ensures continuity and upholds our standards of excellence following the departure of a valued team member. The salary range for this position is $81,900 - $131,900. Eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
