Position Summary Responsible for answering telephones in an upbeat, friendly manner, accommodating the guest's order request, and processing the guest's food bills according to established guidelines and instructions. Responsibilities: Answer the telephone and take the order/request in a timely manner Dispense the order/request to the appropriate staff using the proper procedure Compute bill and operate cash register Make change, cash checks, and issue receipts Handle credit transactions Ensure accuracy of collection and disbursement of money Perform additional duties and projects as assigned Qualifications: Knowledge of basic food and wine products Ability to perform basic/intermediate math skills Ability to operate office equipment (i.e., fax, copier, and telephone)and POS System Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests, staff, and management Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions Ability to speak, read, write and understand English Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment Education: High School education or equivalent Social Media https://jwnashvillecareers.com/ JW Marriott Nashville Website Facebook Instagram Twitter
