Job Description
An established and values-driven manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join its leadership team. This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and brings both strategic thinking and hands-on operational experience. The successful candidate will oversee all core HR functions while helping foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities: β’ Lead recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives β’ Support employee relations, performance management, and retention strategies β’ Develop, maintain, and interpret HR policies and procedures β’ Ensure compliance with employment legislation, workplace standards, and health & safety requirements β’ Support compensation, benefits administration, attendance management, WSIB, LTD, and return-to-work programs β’ Partner with managers and supervisors to provide coaching and HR guidance β’ Coordinate training initiatives, including legislative and safety training programs β’ Participate in workplace investigations and promote a safe and respectful work environment β’ Maintain HR records, reporting, and day-to-day HR administration Qualifications: β’ 5β8 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably within manufacturing β’ Strong understanding of Ontario employment legislation, including ESA, OHSA, Human Rights legislation, and Pay Equity β’ Experience supporting Health & Safety initiatives and Joint Health & Safety Committees β’ CHRP or CHRL designation is considered an asset β’ Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills β’ Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment What Weβre Looking For: We are seeking a confident, approachable, and solutions-oriented HR professional who leads with professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.
