GLOBAL OPS is seeking a professional and organized Human Resources Generalist to support core human resources operations and help deliver an exceptional employee experience. This role is ideal for an HR professional who is detail-oriented, service-minded, and committed to maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism in every interaction.

The HR Generalist will support employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, benefits coordination, employee records, and compliance processes. This position requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, follows through on commitments, and understands the importance of accurate documentation and responsive HR support. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with leadership and internal teams to help maintain consistent HR practices and a positive workplace culture.

What You'll Do

  • Support day-to-day human resources operations and administrative activities

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate communications, interview scheduling, and hiring documentation

  • Assist with employee onboarding, orientation, background checks, and required pre-employment documentation

  • Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files and HR records

  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace processes

  • Assist with benefits administration, employee changes, and enrollment activities

  • Track employee information, attendance, training, certifications, and required documentation

  • Support performance management, employee relations, and corrective action processes as directed

  • Prepare HR reports, correspondence, forms, and other workforce documentation

  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements

  • Coordinate offboarding activities, including exit documentation and return of company property

  • Partner with managers and leadership to provide timely and professional HR support

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered

  • 1-3 years of experience in human resources, recruiting, personnel administration, or a related role

  • Working knowledge of employee lifecycle processes and HR best practices

  • Understanding of confidentiality requirements and professional handling of sensitive employee information

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with Google Suite, and utilisation AI powered tools

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain professionalism in sensitive situations

  • Ability to successfully complete all required screenings and pre-employment training

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply:

  • Recruiting and applicant tracking systems

  • Employee onboarding and offboarding

  • Benefits administration

  • Personnel file and HRIS management

  • Employee relations support

  • Payroll or timekeeping administration

  • Training coordination and compliance tracking

  • Security, staffing, facilities, or other service-based organizations

  • Knowledge of federal, New York State, and local employment requirements
