HR Truck Driver (HR Licence & VLF/Vehicle Loading Crane Licence )

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused HR Truck Driver to join our transport team.

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of insulated panels, roofingproducts and associated building materials to customers across South EastQueensland.

Working closely with our warehouse, dispatch and production teams, you'll ensure products arrive safely, on time and in excellent condition while providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate HR rigid trucks to complete scheduled deliveries.


• Load, secure and transport building products in accordance with load restraint regulations.


• Operate a Vehicle Loading Crane (VLF/Hiab) where required to safely load and unload products.


• Conduct daily pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections.


• Complete delivery paperwork, electronic PODs and transport documentation.


• Plan delivery routes to maximise efficiency and meet customer timeframes.


• Communicate effectively with Dispatch regarding delivery schedules, delays or site issues.


• Ensure all deliveries comply with NHVR, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and company safety standards.


• Provide professional customer service at all delivery locations.


• Assist with warehouse loading and yard duties during quieter periods.


• Maintain company vehicles in a clean and roadworthy condition.


• Report vehicle defects, incidents or safety concerns promptly.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Current HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver Licence.


• Current VLF/Vehicle Loading Crane (Hiab) Licence.


• Excellent driving history.


• Sound understanding of load restraint requirements.


• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.


• Good communication and customer service skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.
