Location: Townsville, QLD Employment Type: Full-Time hours contracted (Monday - Friday, 38+ hours per week) Routes: Townsville to Cairns & Townsville to Mackay

Are you an experienced Heavy Rigid (HR) Truck Driver looking for reliable hours, consistent coastal routes, and your weekends back? We are currently seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious HR Truck Driver to join our logistics team.

About the Role

Based out of our Townsville depot, you will be responsible for critical supply runs heading north to Cairns and south to Mackay. If you take pride in your work, value safety above all else, and want the stability of a Monday-to-Friday roster, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you will be the face of our company on the road and at customer sites. You will manage regular line-haul and multi-drop delivery routes along the Bruce Highway, ensuring freight is transported safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Heavy Rigid (HR) vehicle to deliver freight from Townsville to Cairns, Mackay, and surrounding areas.


• Conduct thorough pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road worthiness.


• Ensure all freight is loaded, secured, and unloaded in compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and safety regulations.


• Complete accurate delivery documentation, run sheets, and logbooks.


• Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues promptly.


• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.

What You Need to Succeed

• Licensing: A current, unrestricted Heavy Rigid (HR) manual or auto driver's licence (minimum).


• Record: A clean driving history with a recent traffic history report available upon request.


• Clearances: Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive National Police Check.


• Health & Safety: Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical/physical assessment, as well as a strict Drug & Alcohol screening.


• Experience: Previous experience in a similar HR driving role, particularly with highway/regional driving, is highly regarded.


• Attitude: A strong commitment to safety, reliable time management, and a professional attitude.
