About you

• Proven experience in HR management within the public sector or a similar environment
• Strong knowledge of staff training, succession planning, and HR systems (e.g., Hark)
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing priorities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

What you'll do

• Lead the development and implementation of the staff training plan for 2026/28
• Manage the procurement and execution of skills audits to inform future training strategies
• Develop a simple yet effective succession plan for the organisation
• Monitor training applications and manage the training budget effectively
• Assist in the rollout of the organisation's hybrid working policy and adapt it as needed
• Collaborate with senior management to ensure HR initiatives support organisational goals
