Hotel Manager The Hotel Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of hotel operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and fostering a highâperformance, peopleâfirst culture.
This role provides dayâtoâday leadership for the property, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and alignment with Makereadyâs brand standards and values. Serving as a key partner to the Managing Director, the Hotel Manager drives accountability across department leadership, oversees guest satisfaction initiatives, and leads strategic priorities including capital projects, service recovery, and continuous improvement efforts. Requested Tasks Lead, develop, and hold department leaders accountable to performance, service, and operational standards.
Foster a collaborative, engaged, and hospitalityâdriven culture for all team members. Serve as a visible, handsâon leader for both guests and team members. Oversee all operational functions of the hotel, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and brand alignment.
Lead guest satisfaction initiatives and oversee service recovery procedures to resolve guest concerns effectively and thoughtfully. Address team member concerns and support a positive, respectful workplace environment. Prepare, present, and achieve annual operating budgets, capital budgets, and financial forecasts.
Develop and execute marketing and sales plans in partnership with commercial leadership. Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to drive revenue growth and cost efficiency. Requested Capabilities Minimum of 5â7 years of progressive hotel operations leadership experience, with prior experience as a Hotel Manager, Director of Operations, or equivalent role preferred.
Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain highâperforming leadership teams in a hospitality environment. Strong operational knowledge across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Guest Services. Demonstrated experience managing hotel budgets, financial performance, and capital projects.
Track record of driving guest satisfaction, service recovery, and brand standards. Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze performance metrics and implement dataâdriven decisions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problemâsolving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fastâpaced, handsâon environment while balancing strategic priorities. Experience working with lifestyle, boutique, or independent hotel brands preferred. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
