Job Details Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,440 - $3,690 Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Contract) - NP / Nurse Practitioner role Location: Issaquah, WA 98029 (Eastside / Seattle metro area) Setting: Outpatient Women's Health Clinic (OB/GYN clinic) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (1-hour lunch); option for 4/10s Hours per Week: 36 Assignment Duration: 39 weeks (potential to extend) Patient Encounters per Shift: 12 Start Date: Upon credentialing completion (estimated 30-90 days) Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in women's health, OB/GYN, or acute care settings Active Nurse Practitioner license in Washington State (WA NP license) Board certification as an NP (Family NP or Women's Health/Adult-Gerontology as applicable) Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred) Clinical experience with IUD insertion/removal, endometrial biopsy, and obstetrical care Proficiency performing Dating & Viability Ultrasounds or comfort interpreting point-of-care OB ultrasound Completion of credentialing and privileging prior to assignment (estimated 30-90 days) Key Responsibilities Conduct new OB patient visits, including Dating & Viability Ultrasounds and initial prenatal assessments Manage routine prenatal visits (e.g., 16- and 28-week appointments) and triage OB concerns Provide contraceptive counseling and perform birth control services, including IUD insertions/removals and Nexplanon procedures (if credentialed) Perform endometrial biopsies and evaluate general gynecologic complaints Complete annual well-woman exams, sexual health screenings, and mental health assessments Collaborate with physicians, midwives, medical assistants, and care coordinators to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care Why Join This Team Meaningful locum NP opportunity in a supportive outpatient women's health clinic Competitive weekly pay for locum tenens nurse practitioners Work-life balance with weekday clinic hours and option for compressed schedule Access to professional collaboration within the Seattle-area healthcare community Ready to advance your career in women's health?
