We're excited to offer an opportunity for a driven and people-focused Hire Room Manager to join our high-performing team at our Canning Vale branch.
This is a key leadership role where you'll take ownership of our Hire Room operations, support and develop a talented team, and help deliver an outstanding experience for both customers and internal stakeholders.

About the Role
- Take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the Hire Department, ensuring efficient equipment utilisation and exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate all hire activities, including on-hires, off-hires, equipment allocation, transport scheduling, customer contracts and invoicing.
- Drive collaboration between the workshop, yard, transport and sales functions to maximise fleet availability and deliver operational excellence.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and generate new business.
- Coordinate servicing, maintenance, breakdowns, customer damage and sub-hire requirements to minimise equipment downtime.
- Monitor operational performance through reporting, planning and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and hire procedures while maintaining accurate operational documentation.
- Contribute to the ongoing success of the branch by balancing customer requirements, operational priorities and commercial outcomes.
This office based role works Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm

Ideally, you will have:
- Strong operational and people leadership experience.

- Basic financial acumen and confidence learning new systems.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills in a busy environment.
- Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
