Base pay range $45.00/hr - $55.00/hr Senior Business Analyst - Application Development & Support (Athena EMR Focus) Location: Hybrid in Phoenix, AZ Job Type: 6-month Contract to Hire About the Role This Senior Business Analyst (BA) will play a key role in bridging business needs with Information Systems (IS) solutions, specifically supporting and configuring electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

This role is focused on driving forward the EMR project and ensuring smooth integration and support within the healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IS, translating business needs into functional requirements. Support and configure EMR systems, with a strong focus on Athena/Athena One .

Oversee testing and integration of EMR solutions, ensuring interoperability with other applications. Analyze new product releases and perform strategic assessments on their integration and impact. Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and validation to support development and implementation.

Provide guidance on system and integration testing, user acceptance testing, and sign-off. Collaborate with IS leadership to plan, monitor, and deliver on EMR project milestones. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, MIS, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 6 years' experience as a BA on technology solutions projects. 5+ years' experience in healthcare or clinical settings required. Proven expertise in EMR support and configuration; Athena experience strongly preferred. Solid understanding of SDLC and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
