Job Description
Position: Head – Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (QHSE) Location: Corporate Office, Ahmedabad Reporting to: CEO Key Responsibilities: Strategy & IMS: Define vision, policy, ISO 9001/14001/45001 systems, SOPs. Risk Management: Implement HIRA/JSA, audits, inspections, incident investigations. Quality Excellence: Manage quality plans, ITPs, FAT/SAT, NCRs, warranty claims.
Health & Safety: Champion Zero Harm, electrical safety, emergency response. Environmental Compliance: Oversee EIA/EMP, waste, ESG disclosures. Contractor Management: Supplier audits, enforce QHSE SLAs.
Digital & Analytics: Implement dashboards, reporting. People & Culture: Build and mentor QHSE team, training, campaigns. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Energy). 15+ years QHSE experience, 10+ years in renewable IPP/EPC/O&M.
Certifications: ISO Lead Auditor, NEBOSH IGC, ICAM/TapRooT, First Aid/Rescue; GWO & battery safety preferred. Familiarity with IFC PS, World Bank EHS, Indian regulations, IEC/IS codes. Core Competencies: IMS implementation, hazard identification, CAPA effectiveness.
Quality engineering, commissioning, reliability. Electrical & site safety, BESS risk management. Environmental management, permits, compliance.
