About us

Complir is the AI platform for the product compliance lifecycle, built for retailers, brands, and manufacturers selling physical consumer products across multiple markets.

We believe getting a physical product to market shouldn't mean fighting spreadsheets, PDFs, and supplier emails just to prove it's safe and legal to sell. Product compliance should be continuous, automatic, and understandable - not a bottleneck that slows launches down. We're building the AI infrastructure that makes that possible.

We work with many of the worlds largest retailers and brands across fashion, furniture, cosmetics, toys, electronics and many other product categories. We're backed by Y Combinator, and a roster of investors who see what we see: Product compliance is the next major infrastructure category, and we're leading it.

About the role

We're looking for an entrepreneurial salesperson who wants huge responsibility: Bringing Complir to the UK, closing enterprise deals, and shaping our presence in one of Europe's largest markets.

Product compliance is not a topic that makes people lean in at dinner parties. But every product you've ever bought, from your kid's toy dinosaur to your electric toothbrush, had to clear a wall of regulation before it reached you. Most companies manage that wall with spreadsheets, inbox archaeology, and one very tired quality manager.

Nowhere is that wall more confusing than in the UK: one of Europe's largest consumer markets, now writing its own product rulebook after Brexit. UKCA next to CE, GB rules diverging from EU rules, and EU regulation still applying in Northern Ireland. Every brand selling on both sides of the Channel is running two compliance tracks with tools built for zero.

We're fixing this with AI, and we want you to be the person who brings it there.

You'll be Complir's first person on the ground in the UK, focused on enterprise: Retailers, manufacturers and brands with 1,000+ active products, complex multi-market exposure, and compliance teams drowning in spreadsheets. You'll build your own pipeline and close your own enterprise deals. That means picking up the phone, working your network, and creating opportunities where none existed, with founders and our GTM team behind every deal.

We're looking for a self-starting enterprise seller with an entrepreneurial streak - several years of enterprise B2B sales experience, ideally with some background selling into or working in legal, compliance, or regulatory functions.

Then comes the second act. As the first customers land, you build the UK pod around you: account executives, customer success, eventually a UK office with your fingerprints on everything. The UK is the mandate today, and the person who builds it is its natural owner.

Where you'll be based

You'll start with 2 weeks at our Copenhagen HQ. This is where you absorb the product, the pitch, and the compliance domain, sitting next to the founders and the GTM team, and where you start building your UK pipeline from day one.

From there, you're based in the UK, running your own market. You'll be back in Copenhagen for 2 weeks every quarter, working closely with our Head of France, Head of Germany, and the rest of the team to compare notes across markets, sharpen the playbook, and bring what's working in each country back to your own.

What you'll do

  • Own the UK market: pipeline, revenue, and everything in between. You build the top of your own funnel using a proven enterprise playbook, adapted to the UK market: cold outreach, LinkedIn, events, and channels you develop yourself as you learn what works locally.

  • Run enterprise sales cycles end to end: discovery, demo, pilot, procurement, security review, close

  • Sell to compliance managers, regulatory affairs leads, and C‑suite at product companies across categories like cosmetics, toys, and electronics

  • Become an expert in the product compliance space and act as a thought leader within the UK product compliance communities

  • Bring market insight back into the product and the pitch: what UK enterprises need will shape what we build

You will love this job, if you are:

  • An experienced enterprise seller with several years closing complex, multi-stakeholder B2B SaaS deals, ideally in the Β£100k+ ACV range

  • A fluent English speaker with deep familiarity with the UK market

  • Experienced with (or curious about) selling into compliance, regulatory, quality, or retail.

  • Comfortable being the only Complirian in your market, without being a lone wolf: you'll pull on the founders and product daily

  • Not afraid of picking up the phone. There is no SDR to start off with - the sellers who win are the ones who never stopped picking up the phone
