The Job

You'll lead the field sales operation across both countries. In Scotland, an established team — genuine top-end performance at one end, younger salespeople with the raw material to become very good under proper coaching at the other. In Northern Ireland, a growth market where you'll drive the sales side forward, with recruitment into the team as the business builds and regular travel across.

This is working sales leadership. Weekly one-to-ones with every salesperson. Regular field days coaching live sales situations. Full ownership of the sales budget, pipeline, forecasting and margin. A structured activity rhythm that means your team always knows what good looks like — and so do you. Behind you: national marketing and telemarketing support feeding activity into the field.

About You

You've either led a field sales team to target in this world — forklifts, materials handling, or allied capital equipment sold into local markets — or you're the senior salesperson who's been the unofficial coach for years and wants the title to catch up. You hunt new business and teach others to do the same. You're credible in front of an Operations Director deciding a fleet, and disciplined enough with CRM and forecasting to lead by example.
