Overview
In this role you will lead and shape the product marketing function for a scalable B2B payments platform. You will own positioning and narrative across key verticals, translating a technically rich product into compelling buyer-focused messaging. You will collaborate with product, sales and demand generation to drive launches, enablement and market adoption.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, including building the team and integrating AI-driven workflows. This is a high-impact opportunity to define how the platform wins in a competitive market.

- Own positioning and differentiated messaging grounded in customer insight across the platform
- Define and tailor value propositions for each vertical (buyer, problem, regulatory context)
- Personally own one priority vertical and develop its buyers, competitors and narrative
- Make voice-of-the-customer work a standing habit to inform positioning and sales conversations
- Lead launch planning, tiering, enablement, and collaborate with product on roadmap delivery
- Equip the sales team with pitches, decks, demos, battlecards and win stories
- Provide market intelligence and buyer journey insights to steer product, marketing and sales decisions
- Build and lead the product marketing team, mapping roles and setting quality benchmarks
- Integrate AI into capabilities and workflows to accelerate research, testing and content production
- Support growth initiatives including new international market entry and a new vertical
- B2B experience is essential
- Payments, fintech or other regulated, technically complex product experience preferred
- Vertical or industry GTM experience and familiarity with the 50โ150m ARR band
- Exceptional writing and communication skills to simplify complex products
- Strong customer-observation mindset and preference for direct customer engagement
- Credible senior voice in cross-functional discussions with product and sales
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and build a function
- Hands-on leader who will lead the team and own a vertical
- Fluency with AI and ability to ship workflows and agents
- Right to work in the UK and ability to work in London office (hybrid)
