Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation for an experienced and commercially driven Head of Marketing and Communication to lead and shape the company's marketing function.

This is a strategic leadership position responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive marketing strategy that strengthens brand reputation, supports business growth and leads a high-performing marketing team.

Working across multiple business functions and stakeholders, the successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery to ensure marketing initiatives align with commercial objectives while maintaining consistently high brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing

  • Develop and implement the company's marketing strategy, aligned with business objectives.
  • Own the annual marketing plan, budget and performance reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance brand awareness, market positioning and business growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments to inform strategic decision‑making.

Brand & Communications

  • Act as the guardian of the corporate brand, ensuring consistency across all marketing and communications.
  • Lead the development of the corporate brand, employer brand and project communications.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of marketing collateral, digital content, publications, photography, video and website content.
  • Ensure all publicly available company information is accurate, up to date and aligned with brand guidelines.

Leadership

  • Lead, mentor and develop the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Set clear objectives, priorities and performance expectations.
  • Partner with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated marketing initiatives.

Marketing Delivery

Lead the planning and execution of marketing activity across:

  • Corporate marketing
  • Employer branding and recruitment campaigns
  • Digital marketing, website management and social media
  • Public relations and media engagement
  • Events, sponsorships and industry engagement
  • Internal communications
  • Awards submissions
  • Photography, videography and creative production

Business Development Support

  • Prepare high-quality presentations to support client meetings and strategic business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with bid and tender teams to develop compelling submission materials, project information and capability statements.
  • Maintain and enhance presentation templates, bid documentation and marketing collateral.
  • Develop marketing materials that showcase the organisation's expertise, capabilities and project portfolio.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Manage external marketing agencies, consultants and creative partners.
  • Provide marketing support across joint ventures, partnerships and associated business units where required.

Governance & Performance

  • Manage the marketing budget and supplier relationships.
  • Maintain marketing assets and project databases.
  • Measure marketing effectiveness through data, insights and reporting.
  • Provide regular performance updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
