The ideal candidate will have a background in C++ low latency trading and be experienced in algorithmic and high-frequency trading strategies across various financial instruments. The role involves leading a team of 10 to 20 people, providing technical and strategic guidance, and ensuring the development of robust, high-performance trading systems. Responsibilities for the Head of Core C++ Low Latency Development include overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of low-latency trading applications, as well as optimizing the performance of the trading infrastructure.
