Head of Accounting

An established Miami-based single-family office is seeking a Financial Controller to build, own, and oversee its entire accounting and financial control function. This is the senior financial authority in the office, responsible for the integrity of every number that reaches leadership and the family principals.

This is a family business office, not a corporate finance department. Here, it's not a line item. You are a trusted member of an inner circle that safeguards a family's legacy, where discretion, loyalty, and judgment matter as much as technical mastery, and where relationships are measured in years and decades, not quarters.

It is also a true blend of strategy and craft. You will set the policies, controls, and budgeting discipline that protect and grow the family's wealth, and you will work directly in the books, own the general ledger, run the close, and turn complex data into clear, decision-grade intelligence. We're looking for a financial professional who can guide our business, not just take orders, and who adds real value to our multi-million-dollar global investments.

A right-hand person to the CFO and the Board of Directors.

The mandate spans:

• All domestic and international entities, family trust structures, and operating businesses
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual close, plus consolidated and entity-level reporting
• Tax coordination across federal, state, and international jurisdictions
• Oversight of major external accounting firms (Big Four or equivalent)
• Hands-on QuickBooks ownership

What we are looking fo r:

• 10+ years of accounting leadership (12+ strongly preferred)
• 5 years of financial leadership with a combination of trust, tax transactions, and investments.
• Active CPA strongly desired
• Multi-entity, trust, and international or cross-border experience
• Bilingual English and Spanish, but not necessary
• Above all, a sincere readiness to commit to the long term

Salary and benefits are extremely attractive.

Range: $175,000-$200,000

• Performance Bonus: Variable Percentage

Mode: In-office, must live in Miami-Dade area.
